Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Littleville! We’re delighted to have you join us at our children’s role play café in Orpington. These Terms & Conditions apply to all visitors, customers, and guests. Please take a moment to read them, as they outline your rights, responsibilities, and how we keep everyone safe and smiling.

 

1. Introduction

By accessing Littleville, making a booking, attending a session, or hiring the venue, you agree to abide by the terms set out below. These Terms & Conditions are legally binding and designed to protect you, your family, and our team. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@littleville.uk

 

2. Venue Rules & Supervision

  • All children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Littleville staff do not provide childcare or individual supervision.

  • Adults must remain on the premises throughout your visit.

  • The play café is designed for children aged up to 7 years during standard sessions. During private hire, the recommended maximum is 10 years.

  • Children must wear grippy socks in the play area. Entry may be refused without them.

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask visitors to leave if safety or behaviour becomes a concern.

  • Please do not bring outside food or drink unless explicitly permitted during private hire.
     

 

3. Session Bookings

  • Standard sessions are 75 minutes long. You are welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes early to settle in and may stay up to 30 minutes afterwards, depending on scheduling.

  • Bookings are made per session, subject to availability.

  • Walk-ins are accepted if space allows, but advance booking is strongly recommended.

  • Booking confirmation will be sent via email and serves as proof of entry.
     

 

4. Cancellations, Refunds & No-Shows

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your session are eligible for a refund or amendment.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session are non-refundable.

  • No-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

  • In the event of emergency closure (e.g. staff illness, building issues), we will offer a reschedule or full refund.
     

 

5. Parties & Private Hire

We love a good party — and we aim to make yours magical! To keep things smooth and fun for everyone:

  • Party bookings are only permitted via our official party packages.
    Birthday celebrations outside of a booked party package are not allowed during standard sessions. This includes:

    • Bringing outside food (including birthday cakes or party snacks)

    • Bringing decorations of any kind (including balloons, banners, tablecloths)

    • Attempting to gather guests in a way that creates a party-like setup

       We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask you to leave if this policy is breached.

  • A deposit is required to secure your booking. This is refundable following timely departure and respectful use of the space.

  • Full payment is required 4 weeks prior to the booking start, failure to pay in full by this date may result in the cancellation of the booking, and the initial deposit will be retained.

  • We will confirm your package, party agenda, and key details before your deposit is received.

  • Party hire includes exclusive use of the venue.

  • Our typical party flow follows this agenda:
    Set-Up → Play → Food → Cake → Gift Bags → Goodbyes

  • Packages and pricing are listed on our website and are subject to change. All final details will be confirmed in writing.

  • The role play area will close during the food portion of the party and will not reopen, as cleaning takes place during this time.

  • Payment is made via bank transfer.

  • Decorations are welcome, with a few gentle rules:

    • Must be freestanding only — no attaching to walls, fixtures, or ceilings.

    • Weighted helium balloons are permitted.

    • No glitter, confetti, wall adhesives, or messy materials, please.
       

 

6. Health, Safety & Hygiene

  • Safety is our top priority. Our venue and equipment are regularly maintained to high standards.

  • We conduct cleaning between each session, daily deep cleans, and weekly intensive cleans.

  • Children must be closely supervised, especially those under 5 years old.

  • All guests enter and use the facilities at their own risk. Littleville is not liable for accidents resulting from misuse of equipment or lack of supervision.

  • We are fully insured and compliant with relevant health and safety regulations.
     

 

7. Accessibility & Special Access Areas

  • Littleville is wheelchair accessible.

  • A separate infants’ area is available and prioritised for siblings of children attending role play sessions.

  • On quieter days, additional use of this space may be allowed at the discretion of the team, provided a purchase from the café is made.
     

 

8. Gift Cards & Vouchers

  • We offer gift cards and vouchers, redemption terms and expiry dates will be specified at the time of issue or purchase.
     

 

9. Photography & Content Use

  • Our team may take general photos for promotional use but will avoid including identifiable images of children without consent.

  • We will only share photos of children if permission has been granted - permission will be assumed if photos are shared with us directly or that tag our social handles.

  • Guests are welcome to take personal photos or videos but must be respectful of other families.

  • We reserve the right to request the removal of any material taken on-site if it is deemed inappropriate or if it misrepresents the venue.

  • Our logo is legally protected. No guest may replicate, reproduce, or commercially use any part of Littleville’s identity or brand.
     

 

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Visitors agree that they use the venue and its facilities at their own risk.

  • Littleville is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.

  • We are not liable for injuries arising from failure to follow safety guidance or supervise children appropriately.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be legally excluded (e.g. negligence causing personal injury or death).
     

 

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions as needed to reflect operational changes, improvements, or legal requirements. The latest version will always be published on our website, with the last update clearly shown.
